In 1997, the Department of Performing Arts, University of Ìlo̩rin was honored to host an intensive one-week curriculum by Àyàn Làmídì introducing the art and science of e̩nà bàtá coded surrogate speech. |
The proceedings were emceed by Àyàn Dr. Billy O̩lájídé of Kwara State College of Education with participation by students and staff of the Department of Linguistics & Nigerian Languages, University of Ìlo̩rin. |
